Yes, definitely. One of my daughters consistently does a bunch of VA work for me several states away and I recently hired the VA's employed by Nestor & Katerina Gasset to do some very targeted updates for my biz. Divide and conquer is a solution that works well for me.

I have used one for a very specific project that was short term several years ago. I have looked into it a few times for making phone calls and paperwork type stuff but never ended up doing it.-Kasey

I know some people rave about them but, I hire locally in order to expand their job descriptions (for sign placements, picking up checks, lock box installation, etc.). Having those feet on the ground is important to me - and being able to keep locals employed as well!

Yes, I started using a virtual assistant back in 2007 to help together the short sale packages to send to the banks. She was a very nice lady, but the work was not getting done quick enough with the benchmarks I had set. I set benchmarks based on how fast I can do a task plus added on a cushion since most people are not going to be as fast as I am at a task I know very well.
Then I hired a more local company in Miami, they were very expensive and a disaster.
Then I was introduced to a man in the Philippines, who became a good fried of our family. I trained him but soon we had over 48 short sale listings so I taught him how to train other vas to help off load the tasks, at this time it was putting all those listings on Realbird!
Fast foward, now I own that company and we are doing amazing things for our clients. It was one of those doors I never expected would open for us. I don't sleep much as we are in our 7th month, which means I work about 18 hours a day on training the vas, talking to our clients, helping with tasks, doing quality reviews, onboarding new clients, etc. I am grateful every day- needless to stay- life changed a bit:) I no longer work with buyers and stopped going on listing presentations in order to care for this new start up . I would be happy to talk to you any time !

My long tenure administrative assistant moved to AZ several years ago and still works for me as a VA. She's indispensable and knows it. She's never issued a beat on anything and it's like she never left.
I also have 2 more VA hires this year and specifically for data base management for one and the other for technology.
Its one of the best business decisions ever. Don't knock it until you try.

Yes, I have. It's great how technology allows us to extend our capacity to function outside of a traditional office environment. Usuing a virtual assistant seems to be the direction that busy agents are opting to take. Many prove to be very efficient and a life saver when your are overwhelmed with paperwork and needing the help to get through the day. As long as the work is completed, I am ok with having someone assist me remotely.

I tried a VA (Virtual Assistant) once before but I was not happy with how things went and quit after a few weeks. I am now re-thinking that process and may go that route again.

Yes, I have in the past prior to becoming a Realtor. I would be interested in what types of work/projects others are hiring a virtual assistant to do.

Yes, but not for many years now. I found it hard to coordinate with someone who was so far away.

I like my assistant at a desk in the next room. But we do have several foresters who are largely virtual and only put in an appearance at the office about once a year.
