ActiveRain is usually "on" when I'm online....it's a better place to be for me than in front of the television.   That said, the cumulative number is probably a couple of hours per day.   

I start my day with Active Rain, usually about an hour in between returning calls. Then afternoon or evening as time allows, some days that is 0, others it is more

The other day was a long time, over 8 hrs I'm sure doing that one contest on cleanup. 

I spend as much free time I get.

It really depends on the day and how involved a post I'm writing is. Then there are days when I spend less than 30 minutes, if any.

1-2 hours, depending upon the day - I pop on when I'm on hold on the phone, when I'm waiting in my car for an appointment and then, it's my evening 'fun' time!  

1-2hrs lately but it is sporatic so hard to say exactly. I check in in the morning for a few minutes like right now. Then I check the questions throughout the day when I am waiting in line or picking up my kids, etc. I read blog posts and comment a couple at a time between other projects and appts. And then at night I spend some time reading blogs, writing mine catching up on questions and comments while I watch a show or two. I spend more time now than I probably will after I hit 500,000 if I am totally honest. Right now I am trying to get up to #2 in my area and get a free account :-) -Kasey

I am new to AR and am finding myself spending quite a lot of time here.  I spend at least an hour in the morning and then usually some time in the afternoon. There is so much information to absorb and much to learn so I feel like it is time used well. I expect as my needs change, I will spend less time, but I know AR will continue to be a fantastic source of information, encouragement and support.  Have a great weekend!

AR is part of my morning routine over coffee...  I'm guessing 15 - 30 minutes typically 5x a week.

Not as much as I used to, but try to keep it between 30 mins to under an hour.

It is hard to caculate.

For example at this very moment I am creating a video and searching for images and chroma keying. At the same time I look to see if the flag is red. Based on the number adjacent to the flag I could stop what I'm doing and engage.

What that means is the log may suggest I lurk on AR 24 hours a day.

I am a binger.  I can go days without logging in, but then I can be on for half an hour to two hours depending if I am just reading or blogging.

I'm with Michael Jacobs ..I'm not a TV watcher so the 1 hr -2hr I spend on Active Rain a day is well worth it for me.

I am spending a couple of hours a day. I can get behind on commenting especially when I have a busy day.  I always want to catch up. 

Off and on during the day.   5 minutes here, 15 minutes there.

1-2 hours, it depends on whether or not we wrote a post the night before.
