14 minutes is not short. Now this is just me, but I do not want to see the agent doing an on-camera narrative. It's distracting. Your opening flyover of the area was gorgeous.

I do a lot of video, it's all about the demographics of the area leading into the property that I'm marketing. I come from media as a profession. So I'm always thinking how to cram a lot of information into a very short window. The brain can take in information a lot more quickly than it can be spoken to them, so slamming images and info fast can be effective.

I've felt the consumer's attention span is short..keep then less than 2 minutes. I do videos on my community, surrounding area, parks, amenities, community and school events, listings, open houses etc. Keep them short and alternate them!

14 minutes for most is a lot.  I do lots of videos about listings all the way to a short clip about the local flavor of an area, a community or a city. I would think that one to four minutes should be enough to create a message. Video tours can be very efficient including blog videos. Nat Wallen : I like a lot the idea of a catalog of video tours. To keep the viewer interested can be tricky.

Yes, I do listing videos, open house videos and emails to clients with regards to their next steps, etc.  The listing videos are long but, the others are 60-seconds or less.

I create listing videos. I also record inspection videos when tenants move in or out. I intend to start recording "blog" videos but have not done it yet.

Video is the new age of marketing.  If we are not doing them we will get lost in the shuffle.  More people are watching video blogs than reading them.

Yes, I have used video a lot on my listings and am moving toward doing 3D interactive ones as well via my Matterport Camera.  I am learning how to create short tours with them so I can post them on YouTube, Vimeo etc. too.

I make a lot of youtube slideshows and an occasional atv video.

the only video I use is Animoto...and I do that through Realbird when I prepare a website for each listing....

Most videos I do are video testimonials.  I want to do more videos however time and budget constraints are an issue. 

I use video, journalistic, evergreen, professional, clips from TV & Radio interviews of me, Video on all our Podcasts of the guests we interview, drone, etc. I shoot out in the market though, I have no need for a studio; I want La Jolla & San Diego in my background in every video.

Be aware, a video can not be TOO LONG, it can only be TOO BORING.

Without a doubt, it requires exceptional skills and communication to continuously draw a viewer forward and into the message and expereince. That is why so few good videos exist.

Just make sure the promise and the experience are in alignment when presenting the message.

As we all know every minute of quality video equals nearly an hour of post production work. For many, that investment is WAY too much. So, how do you make it faster, cheaper, easier and better?  Keep it short.
