I spend my day servicing clients, following up with leads/prospects, and learning new things. Every day is different... and I don't do stuff to "fill up" my days. I do what's needed to do to keep my listings selling and my buyers buying and what is needed to keep up a steady stream of buyers and sellers.

8:00 a.m. Office Day Starts

CEO: blocked hours are rainmaker hours, calling closed clients-staying in touch, calling networking partners. Prospecting new referrals and leads, personal notes, coffee meetings, lunches, networking groups and pop-bys.

COO: blocked half hours to hours throughout the day, booked around CEO hours return calls, text and email. Inspections, escrow management

11:30 a.m. -1p.m. lunch with a client or networking partner

5:30PM CFO: end of day, log daily expenses and mileage for the monthly P&L I have to turn in to my CPA.

6:00PM barring pre-booked appointments, down tools = phone off, hello family. I may do some AR stuff, but AR is fun not work. The day AR is not fun, I'm out.

I also use an activity point system, so my day can end, pending appointments, as early as I hit 100 points. The more it has to do with closing an escrow, the higher point value the activity.

I start every day checking my emails first, then listening to messages and returning such. While i eat i check out AR, post my blog and read other blogs. I like to make my schedule the evening before. I fill my day with bpos. It is easy to know i have xxx showings here , here and here so will pass this home and that home, grab pictures and finish up the bpos later that evening. With the systems i have put in place, i can complete most in about 20 minutes. My over all day though is a balance of making sure pending sales are on track, getting current listings to be pending and working on getting new listings.

Every day is different, which is why I stick with this!  There is always something to do, rather it's working on details of current business, talking to current or former clients, previewing the market, perusing the MLS to see what's going on neighborhood by neighborhood, etc.  There is never "nothing" worthwhile to do.
