I have a formal program where I donate a minimum of 20 hours a month (usually average 30-40) to the Malibu Search and Rescue Team.  I also donate to specific charities throughout the year.  I have a long listing of them on my website under my About Us section.  I do not believe in the "hokey" marketing nature of "we donate x% of each check to charity" or "we'll donate on your behalf to your favorite charity"  (especially since there are several that I will never donate to because of their views, actions or how much goes to salary).

Used to donate to CMN & no longer feel the need because the company takes the credit instead of the agent. Agents do the work, RM takes the credit - no thanks.

Try to do as much as I can to various places. Kevlar vest for police dogs as an example - know how much they cost?

We do have that option at RE/MAX but, my husband, team and I like to contribute to others as well.
