Manhattan's to keep the cold away!

I started using Thieve's oil this year and have not had a hint of a cold or any other illness, despite being surrounded by it.  I use essential oils for a lot of things. 

Add some garlic to your formula for maximum kiss of death

Mine is along the lines of Raymond E. Camp's:  A Hot Whiskey will cure just about anything in the cold or flu family!

Irish whiskey (Jameson or Powers is ideal!)
A heat proof glass
7 to 8 whole cloves
2 teaspoons sugar
Slice of lemon

Cut a slice of lemon, remove the seeds and stick the cloves into the fruit. Add sugar into the glass followed by a shot of Irish whiskey.  Add boiling water and then stir.  Add the clove & lemon to the mix.

Wrap a wee' napkin around the glass, so you don’t scald yourself and ENJOY!

add a little bit of Dawn to your formula and they should be gone overnight 

I've used table salt on weeds growing in my brick walk way

I do no gardening, ever! Hate the thought of it. Nothing to share.

Local honey is good for sicknesses and allergies.

Baking soda and vinegar for clogged plumbing.

Lye soap will get rid of ground moles. Just cut a small sliver in the hole and drop the soap into it.

How much time do you have, and what do you need attracted or banished? 3:)

I do believe white vinegar is important to have for cleaning but I've got nothing beyond that although I'm still laughing at the suggestion offered by Raymond E. Camp.

That's a great tip Jennifer. I'm not a fan of all the other commercial ones as they are not good for pets and the enviornment. I 'll try this one!

I'll have to try it - the weeds are thriving witih all our rain. But no home remedies to offer. I do, however, like Raymond E. Camp 's!

I have a landscaping company to maintain my yard....no home remedies here....

My latest and greatest is food grade 35% H202.  I use it to clean and preserve food.  Many different solutions from general disinfectant, hand wash, and use on my body.  

We go outside our yard and pick wild Aloe leaves for cuts and sunburns. I also use locally harvested honey for cuts and illness recovery.

My remedy is to call my wife to take care of the problems.

Nothing beats tough workouts to keep away a ton of health issues as we age.

I always have white vinegar on hand..really good remedy for some many things. Loved Raymond E. Camp answer!! LOL!!

Sleep and organic foods.

I grew up on home remedies.

Two bananas per day to keep the blood pressure down.

1. 10% dish soap in water is a great spray for getting rid of spider mites on plants.  Be sure to do the underside of leaves and entire stem.  Keep it off the soil, as the soap will harm the plant if it gets on the roots.

2. Boric acid powder added to water-sugar solution and put in drops near ant nests and the crevices where they walk will get carried back to the nest and kill the living ants.  You'll have to repeat every week as the new crop of larvae emerge and begin to forage.  Clean the old sugar drops away every 3 days and put down fresh ones.

Homemade chicken soup is the great cure all along with local honey added to my herbal tea - and then always enjoying the maximum amount of outdoor sunshine - Those are my home remedies for simplistic joy!

What does the vinegar and lemon juice do for the lawn/weeds?

Late July through September: Buy fresh Corn on the Cob, 3 Minutes in large Pot of Boiling Water; then carefully take the boiling water that is left and cook the weeds in place by pouring on top of them!

Do you have an instant snow melter remedy? Cant see my lawn yet, but teh however is on the sunny side as of today i can see lawn

Feel a cold coming on Licorice Root Tea 3-5 times daily, zinc supplement, raw garlic 4-5 a day swallowed like a pill, D3 twice a day

I'm not into gardening these days, but into health tips. My tip today: start your day with a glass of warm filtered water with a 1-2 tbsp of organic apple cider vinegar. You can add raw honey( if no allergy).
