A garden hose for a kitchen faucet in a 1 Million dollar La Jolla home (a fixer). It was coming through the wall from the garden. No other plumbing.

In a one bathroom house I saw a bathtub that was about 3 and a half feet long and it was turquoise green. There was no shower above it either.

It may be a tie between a heart-shaped bathtub with n the living room and a fur-lined wall in the powder room - both in the same house

I have two homes with Milk Doors.

A stand alone toilet in the basement with an old blanket giving it a bit of privacy.  Also, a bunker in the backyard from the Y2K year.

A dirt floor. No, not here on Kauai. It was in the south in a older rural home.

An open concept master bedroom with no walls up to separate the bathroom from the bedroom. 

None.

Dishwasher draining into the master bath and a sump pump sending the bath water out the bath window into the back yard.  A foreclosure that had been a rental with the main sewer line destroyed by several large trees.  Landlord died so no repairs were made.

I know that I must of seen something but can not think of one now.

Thats the thing about home ownership...The owner can do as they want

Several years ago, a builder in our community thought it appropriate to put in a sliding glass door from inside the shower to the outdoors ???

A glass enclosed spa tub in the master bedroom itself. Although the sunken one in a family room that had a cover so it could be used as a dance floor was pretty odd too

Bathtub in the living room.

It was more the lack of a feature: 1/4 bath, with a toilet but no sink.  Can you say EWWWWW?

I am sure I have run across something but I can't think of anything right now. I will edit my answer if I come up with something good.

The sunken living room in this golf course home was deepened by the installion of a spa.  A spa IN THE LIVING ROOM!

Needless to say, it is  still FOR SALE.

A 14x14 bathroom with an 8' triangular whirlpool just off the garage. 'Throne' was elevated about 18" off the floor with 2 steps up.  Had a handrail for safety.

In homes around 1930's-40's you have that single toilet in the middle of the basement right next to the old coal bin.

Octopus gravity heating still functioning. It was a Sears brand & was huge. Sucker took up 1/2 the basement.

A microwave just 12" above the stove with melted components. That one I wrote a post on.

a heart shaped tub in the master bedroom....not in a bathroom....in the master bedroom.... I made them pull it out...cap off the plumbing and recarpet the room....
