Think I am moving to less than 50% voice communication to my surprise!

90% for me - I talk a  lot to customers

40% Voice

20% Text

30% Podcasts & Music 

5% email

5% internet searches, Siri, maps and other.

Depends on what mode I am in.

When traveling, especially in remote camps then much of my office work is done on the smart phone.

When working in town, and near the office, much more gets done on a real computer and the phone turns back into a phone.

I don't know what the percentages are, but I use my phone a lot more for texting, checking and sending emails, social media and looking up information than I do talking on it!  

I speak on the phone wayyyy more.  I personally think this is a better way to do business and I use often personally.

I used text for simple communication all the time, but it's mainly good for short/simple communication.

It is increasing. I am about to upgrade to the new Apple TV to have voive commands on that too.

I use my phone primarily for voice communications.

I never really thought of it in a percentage, but mine could be similar to 20%. I would say i get my emails more than anything on my Iphone.

I probably use mine about 10% for voice, 10% talking to Siri, 20% checking email, 20% texts and 30% apps.

Probably about the same. I am constantly on the go and use it for texting, emailing, checking the mapserver, looking up files in my Google Drive, etc.

I am about 50/50

I use my iPhone about 80% for voice and my iPad is set to receive messages (iMessages) so, I can respond quicker (by typing on a 'norma'l sized keyboard compared to the itty bitty keypad on my phone!) to texts.

Phones are used much differently these days. I like having all the conveniences available.

Not really sure, and it certainly varies quite a bit but I would say about 40% on average

I like to hear people's voices, and we find that often a written communication has the potential to create misunderstandings.  So I would say I use it for that 75% of the time...

Very little.  I use mine for mostly other stuff.

It depends on the device and what I am doing.  I don't track such percentages.

my iphone is 98% text messaging.... I'm on it all day....

I rarely talk on the phone now. I don't work with the clients directly anymore my husband does and our buyers agent. I work with the agents and I sit next to my husband all day and meet our other buyers agent in person for updates and meetings unless an emergency comes up. I direct all voicemails to be returned by James or John. Probably 10% voice. They spend a ton of time making calls to prospects and calling clients though so they are probably 70%, my husband may even be higher.

Have to agree, I looked at that the other day & it seems it is no longer for talking. Don't know when that happened ....

I still use my phone about 60 to 70% for voice communication.

Now that you brought this up....I am gaining on the voice use currently 20%

I would guess aprox. 25%-30% is for voice communication.

You right about calling it a phone ! More people are doing something on it ,than making calls !
