Not always accurate and can have a negative influence upon people's decicisions! Too much dependence on the results is just plain stupid!

Strange question. Each agent has their own personality and may click or not click with clients based on this. I don't think there is a need to take a test for this.

Need more data related to your question.
Everyone has a personality or two, the one they think and the one others think and the one locked in the closet.
I prefer the 'genius' test to design the team with complimentary types and to understand the optimal mode to benefit from the genius of each member.
Like all such tools, their value lies completely within the willingness to use them.
Most often they are used to retrofit an outcome to precursors, much like the old horoscope. No wonder, he's a Libra, what could you expect. Or, she is passionate, anarchy was the unavoidable outcome.

I would pass on a personality test.. but if only there were tests on honesty, integrity, being professional, being ethical, and putting the needs of your clients first, then I'm in!

I think you can tell more about a person by taking them out to lunch and putting them into a contentious situation. Read their political posts on Facebook. That will tell you in a hurry if they know how to be tactful and could be a good negotiator. LOL

I suppose if a test helps you better understand your style and tendencies it can be a help.

How do I feel about personality tests for LO's? hmmm, I guess they are ok, they do show tendencies that we can work around.

We did "true colors" at the hospital I worked at. All I could do was sing the song all day. Such a waste of time. I've done these at several companies, some HR person thought it would help improve morale or some BS like that.
You either get along with someone or you don't. You don't need to know they're INFJ, ENMO, EMO, DTF, GTL, Blue/Green, Red/White/Blue to talk to them.

What's the point? My business is my business and my personality is my personality. And I'm totally with Kathleen Daniels' response. Have never been big on all this psycho-babble that popped up in the 1970's.

If I can't figure them out after a 10 or 15 minute conversation, they need to be in a psych ward. Or maybe I do.

Personality tests in order to hire an agent as a buyer? To hire an agent as a broker or team leader? As a person who just wants to know their personality type? I'm not sure what the purpose for the questions is. I personally think personality types tests are fascinating and I think they can be very valuable in the hiring process as well as knowing your own strengths and weaknesses as an agent.-Kasey

Now is that for real estate agents in general, or for me specifically William Piotrowski. I wouldn't actually care about the test for other agents, as I would work with a particular person for numerous reasons, and it would work out well. For myself, I also wouldn't care, becauuse I would probably not 'pass' the test!
