You never know who has allergies and their little feet do not need to touch the ground to have their dander in the air.  I love dogs more than people and even I make them stay outside, in the car or with their person.

Anyone who knows me knows that I love dogs. In fact in most cases I love dogs more than I would love their owners.   I have a dog and would never, ever take my dog to someones home that I was not invited to do so.

Why do people think they can bring dogs to other peoples homes, open houses, grocery stores, the mall or anywhere else that do not have an open door policy to dogs?

They cannot be left in cars in most situations, they should not be carried through someones home,  they cannot be tied up on the front porch while the owner goes through the house.

Bad manners no matter how you look at it.

At an open house I request they leave the dog outside or in the car. I had a dog poop in the middle of the front room and as I was cleaning that up he raised his leg on the wall as the owner of the dog was trying to get him out the front dog. I don't think this support dog was legit...

If the dog can be picked up and carried I don't see a problem. Mine has gone on a lot of showings but they're usually buildings and she stays in the truck until/unless it's for sure cool. And never in a nice home. Having said that, I'd rather have most people's dogs than some people's children. LOL

I'll take the dog any day...I will even carry it myself.  The kids need to stay in the car. (If owner is there, I ask permission to bring the dog in).

I have never had a dog bark, bite, break anything, have a tantrum, or poop.

Or let your agent stand with your dog in the driveway.

But, this  one who may have embraced the entitlement mentality will point to the sweater on the creature and declare, "It a service critter that helps me stay calm. You can not forbid our entry!"

That's when you pull out the contract. Which states any fleas, pees or petunias will prove expensive.

Does not come in.  Leave it in the car.  And I love dogs.  My husband showed up to one of our rentals once and the property manager had given the prospective tenants the lockbox code to let themselves in (big problem #1!!) and they walked up to the door with their dog right behind them to come in with (big problem #2!).   Not ok.
