My husband and I work as a Team ... so he would attend one and I would attend the other.

My husband and sister work with me on my team. So, I would send one of them to the other closing. If I didn't have them to cover for me, I would ask another agent from my office if they would fill in.

Count the money.

Stay with the one most likely to send you referrals...or flip a coin.

Make sure that all is good and ask a favor of another agent to ill in for you.

Hopefully you have already done a fovor for them and this will be easy.

Send a surrogate.

Ask my daughter who is an agent to go to one for me.

Request another agent from your office to help you.

Count your blessings, explain the situation and get to one late.  Closings are about the client -- not us.

We don't have to be at closing but I would try...

 Get one of them re-scheduled.  I want to be there.

I have yet to be able to be in two places at one time. I would go to the one that needs me most.

Reschedule one of them.

Me personally?  My husband goes to one, I go to the other.  Otherwise try very hard to not have them at the same time and attend both.  Otherwise find an associate to go to one.  Otherwise make darn sure the lender is there. -Kasey

Not a concern here in California since we have escrow closing.  We set up the time to meet our clients and closings are usually throughout the day.

Either reschedule one, or have someone step in for you for one closing.

Thought it is a good news in the beginning of the year that you have two closings in two different cities at the same time.

I'd pay someone $100 to go and fill in for me....we don't do anything at a closing...it's just time spent!!

Try to reschedule. If this is not possible, is there a managing Broker who can attend one of the closings on your behalf?

I cover one and have one of my agents cover the other one.

Out here we don't have a closing table.  If I was the listing agent, I'd be going and removing my sign and hiding the key for the buyer's agent on my schedule (or having title send a runner to deliver it).  Most likely, I'd have the sign removed a day or three ahead of time and the key ready for pickup when it records.

If they can't be changed, miss one or send a representative of yours.

Legal counsel handles the closings in my jurisdiction.

This hasn't happened yet. If situation arose, maybe broker or another agent could attend one. If both clients want me to be present, I'd see which title company could make needed adjustments.

If one is using Chase bank, you can be assured the date and time are factious.

If my presence is essential I would have a chat with one of the closing company.

I would hold the celebration until the check has cleared.

Attend one and ask a colleague to attend the second closing.

Go to one for the first part of the closing, the other for the end of the closing.

Since closings are done by the title and escrow company after the Buyer and Seller have signed (separately) - I let nature take it's course...

First at all possible, avoid setting up closings at the same time. If it happens, i may have to choose which one needs me more. Luckily it is very rare

I'd schedule better up-front... don't fully understand why this would happen, as I do the scheduling for my closings and have control over when and where. But if unavoidable, I'd send someone to represent me at one of them.

Make the needed arrangements.

I don't double-book but, if a buyer schedules one for one of my sellers and it is conflicting, I ask them to move it up or back an hour.  I've never had anyone refuse to do that.

Close them both and go out to celebrate!
