Two things: 1. This is unacceptable, animal based, assault style marketing behavior. 2. I will never buy whatever they are selling or giving away

No you are not just being old fashioned I have one guy who keeps calling me about some supposed credit line we spoke about! I just blocked his nunber!

I am with Richie Alan Naggar on this.  On average -- I get 5 such calls a day. I wish there was a button I could push that would cause their phone to blow up. 

Robo calls can certainly be annoying.

  Invasive is a polite way too describe it.  It is way over the top.

I love when they use invasive technology to tell me that I need to use invasive technology. Nothing sells a product better than aggravating me.

Yep, I get tons of robo calls and hate them.  I'm pretty much not answering if it's another area code.  I'm starting to think I should answer at all LOL. 

I find it invasive and annoying, but regardless of ethics it seems like a terrible way to market for the real estate profession.

I get voicemails from security companies and it is so annoying. I consider it unsolicited and unwanted and wish they would cease.

I get those phantom voice mails without the phone ringing and hate them. I would never use a business that uses that technology.

John Meussner - Yes, this may be the wave of the future but I block that number right away! Don't care who they are!! Even my cable company. So if it were a ligitimate real estate agent I might want to talk to, hey, it's blocked and I would know they are "one of those". I'm with you on this.

John Meussner - I must be 'old fashioned' too.  If it's a robot, I just hang up and never even listen to the spiel...if it's a human, I empathize that this person is simply trying to perform a task for a salary and I will politely explain that I never make a marketing decision over the phone and request that they email me.  So far, only one telemarketer ever emailed me info.

Have had the same thing happen to me a few times.  First, I don't care for it.  Second, my number is on the DNC list so I don't want solicitation calls, so put the two together and it's strike 3.

Yes, indeed it IS invasive as are the unsolicited text messages. I get 3 - 5 robo-type calls a day

I have had 5 calls already today and yes it is invasive and irratating because most of my clients are out of state and I need to answer the phone.

A good way to get on every phone company's spam list.

Invasive or as I've learned the concept, inturruption marketing.  Not good. It does just the opposite from what you want.  It turns people off. 

Be organic to their conversations. 

When I hear something on voice mail that sounds like a robo-call or tells me "Don't hang up" I delete it immediately.

I don't use it and get aggravated seeing it when opening a page on the internet.  I think it does more harm than good but then again what do I know.

I wouldn't like this. So far I haven't been bothered by this type of marketing. 

Robo dialing is terrible! A waste of voice mail!

Back in the day, I used to have a system that did this.  Dialed numbers and left messages on voicemail systems.  Worked ok.  Didn't get much from it.

Great way to drive business to your competitors. I think I would recommend it to them so you would be on the positive receiving end

The more technology pushes crazy concepts like this, the more we should go back to the basics. You don't want to do "pushy" marketing--that's for idiots. When a consumer decides to look for a professional, you want to be the easiest one to find.

Counter-trend markting always wins...
