Yes, I do. I'm a volunteer at Komen North Texas (Susan G Komen in North Dallas) and  occassionally at church (preparing meals for families in need).

I volunteer to serve on my local HOA.  Some would call that being a glutton for punishment, but it's a great way to make a difference, get to know local politicians and your neighbors.

Primarily in works of compassion. Many, many cities make acts of compassion ILLEGAL. Seriously! Easing the suffering of fellow human beings is illegal. Pets seem to have more protections than an unfortunate soul.

Yep.  Malibu Search and Rescue.  For the last 8 years.  Former volunteer with a Ventura County Sheriff's Department disaster team for 10 years and Ventura County Fire Department for 11 years.

I work with charities ... mostly animal related charities. Animals are my passion.  They need a voice.

Major 'Congrats!' on starting a new era of coaching an All Girls Varsity HS Bowling Team - and taking the Varsity Golf Team to the State Tournament for 4 of 6 years - wow - Frank Rubi!!  I volunteered for 3 years at a local hospital in OP (Out-Patient) Surgery, but could not keep the 5-hour shift when I became a realtor (it was very specific to day and time).  I would like to go back to volunteering, though probably not there.  I did volunteer in CA, where we used to live, though it was in a different field - I've always enjoyed volunteering!

You bet I do. I volunteer with the local animal shelter and I'm no the board for the local Habitat for Humanity Chapter.
