I can't imagine opening my door to a "pop by" - I do not appreciate unannounced visits by anyone.  And, in this day and age of everyone experiencing one type of food issue/allergy or another, I wouldn't take the risk of baking for anyone not in my immediate family and even then!

Most of mine love the Baklava! Those that have allergies to nuts love the cookies and there are even a few that get gluten free.

I'm not a pop by kinda guy but I could but shouldn't go for a delivery of homemade cookies in or out of a tin.   Your clients know your style and your baking skills so I'm sure they will appreciate the gesture.

I'm not a fan of unannounced pop-bys but if you call ahead, I bet they would. Do I have to buy a house to get some of your cookies, Will Hamm ?  If my car is here then I'm home.

Just mail mine.  I don't want anyone popping by.  However, I have a brick and mortar office and invite past clients for coffee and cookies and it's well received, but it's on their time-line.

Most people would not like pop bys.  If you mean dropping them off at their doorstep or mailbox, then by all means. I have always found homemade cookies to be appreciated.  Always an icebreaker!  Good luck!

For the past week, I have been spending my evenings making homemade fudge for just that, Will Hamm!  Just today, my assistants and I assembled 'goodie bags' for my pop-bys and yes, they are well-received each year!

I say pop-bys but, I do text them ahead of time, telling them I'll be dropping a little something off to them and will leave it on their front porch if they're not home.  MOST of them want to show me something that they've done to the house and I am invited in the next day when I arrive!

Will Hamm - I can only speak for myself, and I would love a pop-by with your homemade cookies! As to clients, I don't think I would go to their homes unless they live in my neighborhood and I'm really friendly with them normally. How about  drop them off at their office, that would be good. And might make some other leads to boot.

It's that time of year for cookies. My wife Isherwood yearly process of making Christmas cookies. Last year, she did 3500 and gave them to her patients and I gave some to my realtors, customers, and title companies. If they are in tins, we ask for them to return the tins, if they want them next year. Everyone returns the tins. Three years ago, our double oven broke down, and my wife told everyone "No cookies this year" Their response was for her to come to their house and use their kitchen. No cookies was not an option, they said!

I bake cookies at this time of year, and I deliver them to the clients who closed on a property with me during that year. I call or text the day before and let them know I'll stop by and we discuss where I can leave them if the people are not at home. They go over VERY well. It helps that they are delicious and unique! I don't use a cookie tin.

I delivered my first five for this year this past weekend. I've been told they were delicious.

I don't even try them anymore. I know better! If I have one, I'll have 5.
