I enjoy attending the annual tree lighting ceremony and the annual Christmas parade.

I just participated  in that event Jeff Dowler , ringing the bell on Realtor Ring Day for the Salvation Army, an event that originated with The Minot Association Of Realtors and now is nearly nartional.

I always go to the Junior League Christmas Affair to kick off the holiday season.

White Christmas and Holiday Inn

I don't have a particular event that the community holds, but for fun on Christmas Eve, my husband and I drive around and look at Christmas lights.  You can just feel the magic in the air that night.

We just had some small town holiday fun this evening in Cedaredge. We had our Parade of Light down Main Street. 

Wonderful Life, midnight Mass

There are a couple of live holiday performances I will hopefully see this month as well as some area neighborhoods which like to "show off" their holiday lights.

Fun as well as some not so typical blog posts-in-the-making too.   

My favorite movie?  "It's a Wonderful Life" and I'm watching it right now!  

Favorite event is Zoo Lights at the National Zoo, throughout December.

My favorite holiday movie is It's a Wonderful Life and The Christmas Carol!  My husband and I watch these (and others) every year.  There are so many others, so this was a hard question to answer with only 1 movie.

Fav movies - 2 - A Christmas Carpl and Christmas Story -  "You're gonna shoot your eye out kid!"

Not really, I just like spending time with my family, so anything together is my ''fovorite'':)

I like the Tim Allen Santa Clause movies and Will Farrell, movie "Elf".

The Santa Clause Series are my favorite.

I like It's a Wonderful Life and never grow tired of seeing it each year.

We like to attend A Longwood Christmas, the annual event at Longwood Gardens. 

Went to a favorite event just last night, but alas it was more just about the stores, then about any holiday cheer.

I really love the Christmas parade but had worked 12 hours Saturday keeping me from it. Unusual to be this busy in December

Its a Wonderful Life is my all time favorite followed closely by Christmas Vacation!

I don't have a holiday or favorite Christmas movie .... but if and when I feel like watching a movie, I watch The Godfather....no matter how many times I watch it, I learn another business lesson... I love it.

Don't do holiday events but the Christmas movie fav is The Ref.

No movie... in fact, I generally don't care for holiday themed movies. Too kitschy for my taste. But I do like to attend a performance of the Nutcracker Ballet during the Christmas season.

The best Christmas event (besides Christmas Eve services) that I ever attended in the last few years was the Mannheim Steamroller Christmas concert I saw in Portland.  It was amazing and I wish I could see it again.

Jeff for years we watched The Bishops Wife!  And we just might do that tonight along with opening a bottle of bubbly!  Tradition that my brother Mike and his wife started a long time ago.

Not in our area but we try to go to Holiday Affair at one of the Wineries to kick off the Holiday season it is the 1st weekend in November so we like that!

Hi Jeff - I probably haven't missed watching A Christmas Story every holiday season since it has come out, and it still cracks me up.

I like "The Hebrew Hammer" because of it's kitchyness and "A Christmas Story"

It is still the same for me no matter what time of year ... Ritz Carlton at Half Moon Bay.  Walk the trail ... go down onto the beach and just BE. 

Bell ringers in our area. Very rare that they even have these anymore.
