No Traditional Thanksgiving this year ... My parents are getting up there in age and no longer want to make the trip -- so we will be taking them out to eat at a very nice place instead of making our dinner.  But the most important part is being "together" so we are very thankful that they are both still with us.

Our tradition is an upscale restaurant.   This year it is A La Provence in Tallahassee.

My vegan sister is cooking - including the turkey!

We will go to our daughters for Thanksgiving.  They could have anything from tacos to mac and cheese or polish sausage.  It's always a surprise.

On the net Saturday Evelyn and I will be hosting a traditional thanksgiving and inviting some people who don't have family to celebrate with anymore.

I have no idea. My niece's kids have differetn allergies, so that is taken into consideration.  We have someone with gluten issues, and someone who is vegetarian.  Like I said, tradition is being together and thanking each other.  A

We had Thanksgiving last month.

Yes, going to a friend's and bringing some of the dishes.

Not exactly. Our son has to work, so we'll be going to the firehouse to spend a few hours there. All the firefighters working that shift are inviting their families too so it will be a big group!

Yes - in that the meal is very similar.  But the environment will be different.  Will be with my parents at their retirement home.   Nice that I won't have to cook!

We have been coming up to Clark, Co. and renting cabins for 15 years now and have friends from 9 to 24 join us.  But still miss the thanksgiving that my late mother would have growing up.

We also reinvent Thanksgiving..this is the year for kids and grand-kids to be with their dad and grandfather..we are going with the family on a cruise at Christmas..we trade off holidays. We are going to a nice, favorite restaurant with friends on Thanksgiving.

Absolutely!  We'll be missing half of the family (going to the other side of their families) but, we'll still do the traditional Thanksgiving!  I can't WAIT!  I love Thanksgiving!!
