Yes we have several practices in force. One is a big sign in the front lobby that says all customers have to produce a valid photo id.

No. This is somewhat of a sore subject with me. I'm the only female agent in my office, and the men just don't get it. Keep in mind that I live in a rural area where we all tend to feel safe, and while hardly anything ever happens...you just don't know when something might happen.

We did not, and like Endre Barath, Jr. no policy will save you.  Common sense and instincts will.  I had a chef call me  re a restaurant space wanting to make lunch for me at his home before seeing the building.  I said fine as long as my husband came along.  That ended the showing and the invitation.  LOL A

      I require everyone in my office to be armed.

    Okay, I am a one man office, but it's still the rule!

Yes, we do (I developed them).  I'm following them right now.  I'm in my office with a gun on my hip.

we have had discussions....nothing carved in stone in policy form..... but we're in cow country....cows are harmless....

Yes, a combination of policy and common sense can head off situations. 

• Never run from predators.
• Check in at the end of the day.
• Let someone know where you are working and when you will be coming out of the woods.
• Have a good walking stick when crossing thin ice or rivers.
• If you come across a meth cook or a pot farm, get out of there quick.
• and more.

If they do, I don't know about it. I work from home and have always taken my own security procedures.

I am not aware of any office I was ever associated with having them. My sense is that they did ... and they were filed away in a drawer somewhere.

Nothing official.  Lots of training and related reminders.  All of it is only as good as our own compliance.
