Don't have so little confidence in women that you'll settle for whomever presents themselves first. There are many women in world leadership positions and your time will come in the US too.

There are many judgmental people out there who think nothing of criticizing a man's hair, tan, weight, etc but act outraged at the reverse.

An older gentleman in Texas taught me this: When your choice is Crude or Corrupt, go with Crude!

I learned Abc, Nbc, Cnn news can not be trusted. I learned if you ask mostly Hillary supporters in a poll that you get Hillary as a leader when real America refuses to vote for her. I learned the silent majority can stand up when pushed too far with candal after scandal after massive increase in health care costs and losses of jobs in rural America

To be ever mindful of Media hypnotic suggestion & manipulation with hidden agendas.... Trump kept stating always...something is not right

1.Don't trust to the polls

2. Change always wins

3. History does repeat itself 

4. Praying might work

Don't listen to the media. Draw your own conclusions from your own research.

You cannot believe the media and the polls.

Lesson 1: for David to defeat Goliath it may be necessary to be unconventional.

Lesson2: dismissing people through judgment will come back to bite.

Lesson 3: an attitude of judgment keep people from speaking the truth and the judge from hearing the truth.

Lesson 4 for the real estate agent: If the only voice you hear is from you own camp, you will be led astray.

Lesson 5 for the real estate agent: The media CAN be manipulated.

The difference was in the branding and marketing.  The target market was reached and responded. 

Don't believe everything you read in the paper and see on TV.

That media is wrong most of the time and often hurting our perception of the situation and just pushing what they need to and not a real scoop.

Everyone has written some very thoughtful answers and I agree with ALL of them Praful Thakkar.  What I personally learned was that:  the 'media tries to manipulate' if you believe everything they say or write; people in 'high places' usually have agendas;  do your own research on 'facts' and 'people'; don't be swayed by other's negativity, even if they are 'mean', because you don't have to be caught up in their web.  Some good lessons!!  

I think the one lesson I took away and was very impressed with Donald is that he never gave up the fight even though he was not supposed to win. So the moral of this story is never ever give up! Keep Fighting!

The people element - people will hold their cards and not tell us how they really feel ... or attempt to run their own end game around us. People take information they hear on TV or from a friend, and believe it. They then make decisions based upon bad intel. They will tell us one thing and possibly to the complete opposite.  People are fearful and do not want to admit it.

I think we need to educate our children in a better way.

So many.  A revolution appeared to be happening in both parties, but was stopped for an agenda on the left.  Look what that got them.  They put their own wants and desires ahead of the people in the party.  I think they need to do away with super delegates and listen to the voters in their party, not the muckity-mucks.

And the biggest lesson, be mindful of what you say when you think no one else will see.  We live in a brave new world of hackers.
