I'd be blogging about both events, sponser something at each event and show up and enjoy some great face to face time with my neighors, friends and clients!

I see the opportunity; what I would do would depend on if I had a listing or not. I may be motivated to host an open #5 or I may buy booth space at the art show #3 and "sponsor" some local photographers I know: get my photographers to set up their great San Diego photos in my booth.

I'd spend an hour at the community garage sale, just to see if any of the participants plan to sell their house soon.

Most likely stay home and work

Heck with the other stuff...I am buying at the community garage sale.

Do not need any more stuff, but might consider an "open house" to see how it goes. Too much traffic may be a hindrance, but signage good exposure!

Hold and Open House;

I deliver water to the tables/people doing the yard sale - probably a good things to walk through the art show and admire the works and compliment the artists too - who says it has to be an either/or

Well, if you up here rather than in Florida, you would be enjoying a beautiful blue sky day with no clouds and nice warm weather complete with a gorgeous display of fall leaf colours.  Absolutely stunning!

I'm not in market for junk or art. We already have plenty of both. None of the rest interest me either. I might work on a website, or go for a hike.

I like the ideas of having an Open House.

I go to the art show to see what my mom has entered and see what else has been created.

Skip the yard sale, have no time or room for junk.

Get out and do SOMETHING!

Actually I would do #s 1 and 4 Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041.  I would go early and do the Art Show and not do the Garage Sale, and then later would do the Open House.  And my visiting the Art Show would not be for Christmas shopping, but for myself, as I can never resist Art! 

I stay at home and work on my business.  While I see opportunities in what you have described ... my marketing is primarily Internet based.

I like #5 if  the home is in the area and a half hour before it starts.

Of the options likely use it as an opportunity for an open house... or something more creative.

If I have a listing in that area, I'd do an open house for sure!  Probably no refreshments, since I want actual buyers not hungry/thirsty people looking for a score.

Some of all of the above. I wouldn't be mowing my lawn, though, at this time of the year. 

#5 every day of the week!  In fact, I just told someone to let me do this for a neighborhood yard sale!

4 or 5 is what I would do. Then make up brochures of homes that are for sale in the subdivision or close by within 1/2 mile. 

#5 - but this time of year in my farm area I would have a sign offering hot and cold refreshments - a cup of coffee or hot chocolate often encourages someone to linger a tad longer to chat ....
