Don't know... have never faced a fraud situation in 25 years. Don't even think about it. BTW, who are you?

I've been in the business for 38 years and have never run into a fraudulent situation.... nor will you in all probability.... don't worry about this...learn to market and make your  phone ring.....you won't have time to think about fraud.

I have never been part of that kind of transaction, i would be looking more for this on sales owner to owner, to me if you don't use title co. ; I mean the buyer picks the  title company of their choice to do this type of transaction from owner to owner you are just leaving yourself open to problems. if  you are going to do a seller carry i also would use a title company that handles that type of transaction to protect both parties . but just my opinion

honestly I think the biggest red flag for an agent to avoid real estate fraud is to find a real estate school that actually teaches the material - Sorry, but this question is sad.

The biggest red flag is seeing a question asked anonymously. Part of the benefit of AR is interacting with those who ask and answer questions which you cant do when you hide your identity

Barbara Todaro is right..probably not going to experience it..I've had it onece but recognized the scam right away. As Barbara says "Learn to market and make your  phone ring.....you won't have time to think about fraud!"
