CUBBIES WON! Yes, I watched!

I was working with politics in the background earlier, now I am working in silence as I take on the late shift at the warming shelter.

I do not watch FOOTBALL, but it can not be avoided.

I try not to watch basketball.

And baseball does not hold my interest.

But this game I DID WATCH. Two teams I know nothing about. One chasing after the proverbial 'Promised Land' coached by the same coach that was chased out of Tampa Bay and two years later that coach is destined to wear a World Series Champion ring.

The moral of the story? Don't let temporary failures become a defeat of ones life. Baseball, much like real estate, is the vessel through which we are enabled to express what we have learned through the lessons of life.

They did a great job. People here couldn't sleep - I did though.

No... don't watch baseball on TV including the World Series. Had no dog in this contest.

I saw small portions of it but was not very interested since our Blue Jays did not reach this stage for the second year in a row.  Perhaps we will relive the memories of 1992 and 1993 next year.

I am not a baseball fan, but did watch the last few innings. 

It was a great game and watch it from start to finish.

Watched off and on until the end of the 7th.

I watched last night. It was a great fast moving game and very interesting. I was so happy with the outcome.

It's over, Cubs won in 7.

Don't watch baseball, although for the World Series even I did for a bit; hubby watched.

Lise Howe Cubbies won finally. I lived in Chicago in the past, and attended several Cubs games.

Lise I had a blast watching the last game last night - WOW. And as it happens our AR meetup was at a place that was showing the 6th game on a ton of screens so that was kind of fun (but kind of load as the crowds were going nuts)!!

I had to turn it off at the end of the 8th!  It was such a nail biter.  Is this what Tuesday night is going to be like?

I went to a comedy show.  When I got out the rain delay had just started.  Don't really care about it.  Turned on the TV and got the very disappointing speeches made by the athletes.  "I've won a lot of individual awards, but this is the first team one."  After seeing the talks done by Peyton Manning, Dak Prescott and the Cowboys talking all about how it isn't about "one man" and how it's a team effort, I was sickened by the Cubs and so glad I don't watch baseball.

Not watching and not working.

I watched some of it and admit while I'm not much of a fan, this was an exciting series.  Congrats to Chicago(and Cleveland too).

I wanted the CMA's, but kept checking back on the game. After 11pm switched to the game, but fell a sleep before the end

Passed on it. Pro sports has lost its soul.

watched CNN.... the entertainment factor is equivalent!!

I do not even have a tv, but I watched my son college team wresting live stream, he won his match. 

Working here in Orlando but checking in online now and then. Go Cubs!
