Probably more of a reaction to their lawsuit than anything else.  Probably banned them long before the suit got settled.  My guess is it also has to do with finally realizing "Oh hey, we should probably do something to promote Realtor.com, even though we were complete bone heads and sold it off to Move, Inc."

Agents and people will still use Zillow, so i doubt banning them does any good. It might have the opposite affect because many people will get the impression that Zillow is so good, NAR is very concerned competing with them.
