Sounds lame .... where's the photo? I'm all for keeping big trees except when I have to drive around them.

I had one home tghat came with it's own Meth lab.

I haven't seen anything too outstanding in my area. We do have decks built around trees. I think that's pretty neat.

We did have the listing of Liberace's penthouse, that was quite the place.  A

that's a huge problem!!!  I listed a home decades ago that had the septic system under the paved driveway.... that was before title 5 and/or septic inspections.... hmmm

I'd probably back into that tree.

I think the craziest thing I've had is a tree through the deck.  I'm not  fan.

Hmm, well the large spa with a etched glass enclosure featuring a dolphin in the master bedroom, NOT the bath, probably ranks right up there

They featured 1 bathroom when it was 2.5 bathrooms at one time

A ceiling in the bedroom made with a sort of collage of large pieces of broken glass.  It was a little creepy.

     A 1960's house that I sold last year... everything in it, from the appliances to the furniture to the books on the shelves and the LP records was vintange, in mint condition.  There were coppertone appliances, "Ginsu knives" on the counter, and more.  It was like a time warp.  I did a blog post about it.

How nice that they kept the tree. In our water communities I am always amazed at how cleverly people utilize the smallest spaces. I once saw a shower stall so narrow, that I'm sure a pregnant woman, for example could not fit in.

I think a dog wash area in the mudroom was pretty cool. That was the most unique feature. It even had a heated drying area.

I once had a listing where the "components" of the only bathroom were found in different parts of the small house.  The toilet over there -- the tub/shower in another part of the home and the sink in a different place. Early 1900s Bungalow.  It was tenant occupied with only one scheduled showing.   Both parties who saw it made offers and one of them was the successful buyer.

That is interesting. But overall, can't think of anything quite that dramatic that stayed in my mind.

On new constructions, I am seeing larger laundry room with a special space allocated to prospective buyer's pets.

I once saw a land developement project that came with trees in place where the houses had to be designed with the trees included wherever they end up.

One 2/2 listed at $500K with a spa in the living room. (DOM 411 days)

Best feature was a hole in the roof, present for nearly 10 years of occupied house. That actually was a fun one to work with.

Disappointing feature was the 'Family Discount' offer from the local bail bondsman attached to the refrigerator.
