PS. Makes me feel lucky to live in the snowbelt.  No hurricanes, no tornadoes, no earthquakes, no floods.

Fortunately, Charlotte is not in the direct path of the storm. But I did tank up my car today just in case supplies get interrupted.

Be safe Marco and we are prepared even though Naples looks like it will be spared. As for educating homeowners, there are many resources we use to let them know what to do in case of one here.

One thing is for sure. Whatever is not functioning well will be revealed

There are so many new residents of coastal regions that have not experienced a hurricane. First though is hoping they all get out safely

We tell them to leave, anything else would just opening the liability door.

I have no first time buyers to assist but did help my out of state clients prepare.

We evacuated last night, wish we had gone further west. Shutters are closed, patio furniture secure, second car in garage, homeowner's and flood insurance are current...nothing else I can do but wait.

It does not look good for Cocoa Beach, this hotel may be our new home for a while.

I have a hand out for ALL customers

WE bought our second home in Jupiter Florida in February and no the agent we used there said nothing about hurricanes. Hurrican shutters would have been a good suggestion.

Good reminder to agents.

I have prepared my agents for buyers that always follow a hurricane in Florida

I am a "prepper".  I can't recall sharing thoughts with a first time buyer.

Stop by if you get hard up... we have water, fuel, food, lighting, defense, tents... whatever you need!

If you in Florida are getting as many get-out-of-Dodge stories on media as we are, it would be hard to miss the warnings.  

And what a strange projected path!

N/A for me, but I've done the education for earthquakes.  Educated some Britts who were seeing a listing of mine.  Their agent was, sadly, clueless.

Andrew, Charley, Dennis, Ivan, Jeanne and Wilma precipitated some instruction through the decades. None so far for Mathew although I believe Katrina and Sandy helped with that awareness.
