This year I went to Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma next week, and Kansas the week after. Part of my NAR repsonsibilities but besides the networking that is obvious, knowing issues and getting to hear great speakers make it a must.

The most important thing I got out of it was getting out of it...while I attend many seminars and summits, I've never been compelled to attend CAR nor NAR conventions. They seem like flea markets for the shiny object syndrome buyers. Now CRS Sellabration, I'd attend.

I never have in 38 years...never wanted to spend the time...

Congrats on attending yours, I always make it a priority to attend ours too.

So many things to learn and people to meet.

The intinerary is always so boring I wouldn't think of it.

It is well worth it!

I attend the NAR mid-year and learn a lot.  The state meetings often have great continuing ed opportunities.

I used to go all the time-it was for the CE mainly, and the parties and time away was nice.

I didn't attend our last 2, but have gone to the NAR Conventions

We don't, we stay abreast of what is happening, and just are not conference fans.  We have been to many and prefer to do something else with our precious time. A

I have when they are held locally.  I enjoy the education and networking opportunities.

1. Meeting and interviewing agents in locations for which I have consistent to/from activity.

2. Squeezing the vendors to see if anyone has anything worth looking into. For the most part, they are out of substance at the 3rd level.

Try a little experiment. Equip a binder with the AR logo prominently displayed and wait for 'like minded people' to introduce themselves. If AR is going to be there, try something else that is meaningful to you and easily identified by the 'like minded." It is a safe environment for an experiment and just might open your mind to what you can do locally. IF you are still drawling a blank the rip off my blog and use "34 Benefits of Exercise' with good graphics. If nothing happens, you lose nothing. But that will not be the outcome. (PS: Tell the event coordinators that you are ready with your "34 Benefits' Talk if one of their speakers do not show.) Be BOLD.

I have never attended a state conference.

No - have not

The California convention was held this week -- I did not attend.  

I usually do, but this year was watching another REALTOR'S business and both hers and mine are going crazy.

I have never attended a State conference ... in fact I believe there may be one going on right now.  I attended NAR once and have not plans to attend another NAR conference.  

I attended mine 2 weeks ago. The education and networking are very valuable.

No I have not attended mine..if your there network like crazy and look over the agenda to find an interesting class and come away with something to improve your business.

No, zero desire to.  Maybe if they paid me and it was in my city...
