That is so great. I have had many people that are unbelievably happy. Too many to mention.

I would say they have all been happy but the level of happiness seems to vary some. And some are just more expressive than others. I have had a couple of teary-eye new homeowners, and a few sellers, too!

I had someone cry at closing becaue I saved them from a predatory lender.

Several stand out, actually.  But, I remember the one I was the happiest about closing.  She was a VERY high maintenance client, but it was a good pay day in the end.  

For me, it would be the first time home buyers who were in the 50's.  Their financing was tight ... long story short, I gifted them my car.  It was a 14 year old Infiniti in excellent shape with low mileage ... and I loved that car.  Given that in order to qualify for the home they needed to turn in their lease car ... and would not qualify if they had a payment ... I gave them my car.  To this day ... they are over the moon happy in their new home. 

Many happy buyers and sellers, but one in particular where I was on the seller side, and the buyer's agent happened to NOT to be very helpful to the buyer.  After we went to closing the buyer went on Zillow and wrote a nice review on my performance.  

Yes, still friends with them and see them several times a year

Yesterday my client was shedding tears of joy. They just got the keys to their "perfect home". 

I had a client who bought their house sight unseen, just the pictures I provided. They drove here from Savannah Georgia and got to the house a day early where I met them with the keys and a gift basket. They ran to the front door and came out and gave me hugs!

Happiest - these two were like kids!  Giddy and SO much fun to work with from beginning to end too!

I had one seller that just gushed over how quickly I sold his home. This was at the closing table. The buyer's agent couldn't take it any longer and she said some things that weren't exactly nice. My seller looked at her and then turned to me and said...I really can't believe you sold my home so quickly.

It was a priceless moment for me. 

I love all my clients. They are fun at closing 

for me personally it was my daughter.  there have been close seconds along the way

Yes.  I call her Little Miss Sunshine.  She screamed like that little guy in the movie when I told her she and her husband got the house in a multiple offer situation.

One client was so happy he wanted to give me a bonus,  I said no

Happiest:  We walked into the home and she broke out in tears because she knew it was "the one".  There were hugs.  

Saddest:  Sitting in dad's home the day before closing crying and just sitting there, remembering the memories.  Her dad died out of nowhere and we helped her sell the home she grew up in.  

I had one that I'll never forget.  Very touching story that I'd rather not share here.

yes, there were many who had slim equity in their home and they bought a new home with my help.... they are still forever grateful and direct business my way....

Might take me awhile to think back over 30+ years.  

I tried to think of one but my pride in getting them their home supersedes their joy of satisfaction.  I know when the client got their dream home at a good price in the best location that will also be a great future investment.  That is the pressure put on myself.  I am my own worst critic so a happy client is great to have but I grade myself.

I have had many happy clients for one reason or another so several come to mind.

I've been fortunate to have both my sellers and buyers happy but there have been a few that expressed themselves more than the others and were besides themselves! It's always rewarding to have happy clients!

Happy has many faces.   And it's nice whenever happy happens.   

   A senior citizen; she also cried tears of joy and hugged me.

Usually the happiest one is the seller walking out of closing with a positive net result.

There is always onee that brings tears to your eyes and stands out, but the competition is fierce for first place!

I have had people literally cry at closing thinking they could never achieve the America Dream of owning a home.

Not really... I would say all of my clients are happy when they get the keys to their new home.

There have been many over the years, many have no idea what their timber is worth until we get involved.
