Here are my '6 Words For Success in Real Estate', which for me, are all part of one word that is my mantra Carol Williams! 

M - Manners - be kind and polite and caring, because it does 'show'! 

A - Attitude - have a 'can do' attitude, because there is always a way!

R - Respect - have it for your clients, fellow agents, and yourself!

K - Knowledgeable - about your niche, your market, your town!

E - Enlighten - share your knowledge with clients, because they don't know what they don't know!

T - Trust - develop a trusting relationship with your client and others, make your word mean something!

Integrity, intelligence, diligence, patience, thick skin, self-motivation.

Nothing in life should be feared.

Always choose kindness, say 'thank you.'

Never refuse a childs gift.

What have these to do with real estate? How one does the little stuff is how they will do the big stuff.

1.  Have a business plan.  Track it.

Study-The market, How to be successful. Watch and learn. Ask questions from someone that;s been in the business for a while.

Choose-The clients to work with, the homes you want to list, the people you want to surround yourself with.

Never take no for an answer. Low offers are a starting place. Listen, listen more, then ask questions. You are marketing to other agents.

Focus on the One thing everyday.

Make sure your sphere of influence includes lots of activities you like to do. Then you'll have fun while you network with others.

For example, fundraising for your favourite cause could involve knitting (if you're getting local coverage in the newspaper for things being knitted, like little pockets to give dementia patients), spending time with children, theatre work, environment-related things, promoting animal care, etc.

Be honest .Work smart. Know market
