It is a rewarding experience and anyone who has something to share should. Earning money? Oprah's show will give you instant success & returns. Everyone else has to work hard marketing etc. to launch... which takes time

Mimi Foster is a published author, but in print, but she has offered me great advice in the recent past, you might ask her too.

My daughter in law has published 3 children's books and a cook book and published it on Amazon. Not very lucrative but...

Debbie Gartner comes to mind and Mimi Foster is a published author and has many e-books. That said, sex sells .... likely far to be made off an e-book regarding real estate.

Most people I know that created e-books, didn't create them to make money from the sale of the book. They were usually free downloads, or a small fee under $5.00. The e-books were mostly a way of building their customer/email lists.

They are probably mostly promotional, so the benefits might come from publicity.

You have to be writing something really interesting to make money.  We have edited several author's books some who have been published in hardcover, and it took a lot of marketing to get them on the best seller list, and getting friends to buy a lot of books.  The income is negligible even then.  The best sellers are mystery and crime books (fiction).  A

Many people make money on ebooks.  However, very few people make very much money on ebooks or hardcopy books.  It is a very tough industry.  The other day, someone I know, told me he makes less than $21 / month with approximately 41 books on the market.

I would agree that Smart Passive Income is a good website. There are also come good facebook groups that you might want to join about self-publishing.

I know of people who've published, but can't say I really know anyone who's made money.

I have a couple of Realtor friends that have published ebooks and made just a little on them. So much information on the Internet is free that unless it is a dynamic topic you will not get rich.

I think this is a good venture to try. I've thought about it. Let us know how it works out for you.
