As usual Tony and Suzanne Marriott, Associate Brokers your question gives me a reason to chuckle as I read the answers.  Now I am heading outside to look at the facade

Tony and Suzanne Marriott, Associate Brokers The front of a building mainly with historical significance. A builder wanted to put up an office building across from where I worked in Washington DC. He had to keep the facade of the historic townhouse as the front of his building. It was funny to see the front of the historic front and behind it was a modern office building.

This is when first year agents think real estate is easy.

A facade is the front of a building, it can also be a front people put up emotionally. If you're mad but acting happy.. The word has to do with the outer layer of something. The meaning when it comes to architecture has to do with the front or outside of a building of which is first seen by an individual.
