You can find free graphics via Google - just be sure they ARE free and you can use them. Oothers may have some specific sites to check. Your own photos are best in my opinion. Take lots!!

There are webinars in AR's library that provide information about all sorts of places to obtain photos, graphics, etc. both for free and paid.

You can get access to graphs thru kids'zone and free photos at pixabay.com. I am sure there are many many more sites too.

Most images taken from one's camera are oversized. Need to keep it around 100K for device level viewing. You need an utility based software of  to crop, resize or change contrast. Photoshop is the ideal software wanting it for free there are all kinds of free shareware out there.

The photos I sue are ones that I take myself.  I have a bunch of discs I bought at the Apple Store that have photos and graphics.

Be careful though - also when using photos I highly recommend you use only those you take yourself

I thought that the basic Clipart provided by Word (and other Microsoft programs) was free, provided I don't ask it to get more images from the internet.  If anyone knows differently, I'd appreciate you speaking up.

I use my own photo's, which is the best. Otherwise, try freedigitalphotos.net, with attrubutions.

The best photos are the ones you take since you know they are yours.   There are many services available and as Nina Hollander suggested this topic has been addressed many times and the answers can be found through an ActiveRain search.    Good luck.  

my graphics often come from my microsoft publisher software....  if I'm using charts and graphs, those I create with powerpoint....

There are many in creative commons but there are a few different services that are minimum investments per pic. 

There are many posts on free graphics.

MLS services provide many of the graphics. Take your own photographs to use in blogs.

I use my own photos and graphs!

Shutterstock.  It is kinda expensive but you can choose the size and brand your photos. 

I actually have only used my own photos to-date, though there are great suggestions below, for free graphics Dee Spraker.  I will have to check them out! 

Be careful with photos and graphics, many would just love to catch you using theirs.

Best to use your own, or use from a free site like morgue file where generous people share theirs.

    Look on the Internet for photos that are in the public domain.  Wikimedia is one good source.

If you can not create graphics or make pictures, you have to find free images or hire someone to do it for you.

I use my own photos and make my own graphics. For me it takes less time to make one than to find one. I am sure I have blogged about this before.

I do a yearly subscription at clipart.com and have tens of thousands available to use for a very small yearly fee. Freedigitalphotos.net lets you use photos with attribution.

Canva.com - this is a free site that makes it very easy to create custom graphics for your blog. Trust me...this is the answer you're looking for. No cost to quickly create graphics to use for your site.

Hi Dee - In addition to my own photos, I use iClipArt.com - they have a huge number of photos and clip art files and the cost is very reasonable.

I create most of my clip art using Publisher and saving whatever clip art I have in that program, which I paid for, as a JPEG.

I use Google Images and sort by free for reuse.  There are other sites where you can buy stock photos or clipart too.

Is MS Paint for graphics as well as Paint.net which is free and much more powerful!

I have wondered the same also.  My default site is Google.
