What does Robert like to do to relax, for fun, activities, etc? We have too many to list without being specific. What kind of climate does he prefer; mountains, desert, city, rural, beach, golf course, horse ranch or resort? Because we have all those. Does he prefer to live in second best, or America's Finest City? Please send your answers so I may guide Robert on his quest for a snow bird nest. We do have communities that allow 6 month rentals and 30 day rentals too; for your (away) season.

Good morning VB.  Our area experiences all four seasons, In the last few years the winters have been mild compared to other areas. Like to fish?  We have hybrid stripped bass and I've seen them come in at 20 pounds or better, like to hunt, we can offer that also.  Bentonville, the home of WalMart, JB Hunt Trucking and Tyson Foods.  This place is growing but there is still plenty of places that are out of the way.  As I say "Come for a Visit, Stay for a Lifetime".

My question was a little confusing and I didn't notice till after I started reading some of the comments so I will clear it up in my answer.

I am looking for some thing to purchase (not lease) and would only be living in this home/condo for 4-5-6 months.

And either rent it out when I'm not there and or leave it vacant.

6 months would not work here but 3 would be ideal.

Summer time in a college town is pleasant and relaxing, and then you can rent the home to students for the other 9.

VB, Cocoa Beach is the perfect place to retire. You can be as busy here as you like or relax as much as you want.

Since we are between the Atlantic Ocean and Banana River surfing, swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, SUP, etc. are available all year round. We have three seasons so we don't have to deal with snow and ice. Our country club (public) offers a 27 hole golf course, tennis courts and heated pool.

Since retirees (both local and winter residents) make up such a large part of our population, we have excellent doctors and there are several good hospitals in the area. Orlando is about an hour's drive with the attractions (Disney, SeaWorld, etc), shopping, entertainment, dining, etc. Port Canaveral is one of the busiest ports for cruise ships and some of the best fresh seafood you will find.

And we are the home of the endless summer! Come visit and see for yourself!

We have many couples who come to the Midwest for its beautiful weather and choices of weather!  The fabulous city offers breathtaking views and accessibility to a myriad of activities.  The suburbs offer more green spaces and open areas, with quick access to the city life.  A bunch of my neighbors winter in Florida and are neighbors there as well!

I honestly don't think my town would be that place.  We're not really geared towards that.  Maybe Malibu during the summer or Oxnard when the Cowboys are practicing.
