Usually 3 to 4 days. Four weeks is outrageous! That is longer than some Lenders take to work a file from start to finish!

Can get it as quickly as needed! Four weeks is out of line unless there are some unusual circumstances which they can explain!

I ordered on last Friday and got it back on Monday. This was on a refinance though. With purchases, attorneys order them and it takes several days. The key is when they order them

Hella M. Rothwell, Broker/Realtor® - we have attorneys do that - and usually it's about 1-3 weeks MAX to best of my knowledge.

Typically less than 10 days! 4 weeks is ridiculous, Hella!

My title company most used gets the preliminary title report within the first 3 days

we don't have title companies and I never see it and don't order it. The lender orders it from attorney in GA and it's usually back to the bank after abstract and attorney review within 7 to 10 days.

I have some companies that send them as soon as I get the listing. It's a template report that takes them maybe an hour to run. Get a new title company! I get mine within a day, maybe two if they're swamped.

We are not a title company state, so I don't know. I have not heard of title searches taking so long with our real estate attorneys. My company owns a title insurance company, so if I need a quick title search for any reason they'll do one quickly for me for free.
