Real Estate has been strong for the last 6 months in Collin County. I strongly believe we are heading into a shift, which is supported with the number of price reductions this month for listed properties.
Housing prices took off but buyers are pushing back and not willing to pay the inflated prices. What is saving the Collin County arena is the fact that there are numerous major corporations moving here and Jerry Jones is moving the Dallas Cowboy training camp to Frisco TX. Frisco is in the midst of a 9 billion dollar renovation with business complexes, restaurants, major specialitiy shops and apartment and condo complexes.
It should be interesting to see where this goes but either way we are heading into a shift and anyone that has been through this before in the real estate industry knows what they must do to survive and perform stronger than ever in a shift market.

Overall, in my primary market -- the West San Gabriel Valley and Northeast Los Angeles, the market remains quite competitive with multiple offers and sales over list price still common while inventory levels have been increasing in some segments.
