Pete X with X Group Real Estate Advocates says it all.  Go big or go home.  Land is complicated.  Evaluate your time, complexity of the transaction and charge your fee as you see your worth.  Don't sell yourself short.  

Be bold, charge as high as you think you're worth!

This is not a good forum for the discussion of fees. Follow the accepted practices in your community.

Let your broker set the price for you, they have more experience and will likely not have any feelings of guilt about charging a family member.

It should not matter if the seller is family.  You are doing a big job and should be paid whatever, the going rate is.  You have excellent advice from both Teri Pacitto and Pete X with X Group Real Estate Advocates .  A

Charge what you think it's worth... but we really don't want to be having discussions about commissions on this platform.

There's so much more than just finding the buyer and the seller in a real estate transaction(although that's very important).  If you are new(and I apologize if I'm jumping to conclusions thinking that may be the case) -- ask your broker for advice.   Good luck.

Charge what you would normally charge.  You never know what will happen during an escrow.  Once you start discounting, you'll never stop.

No one knows the value of your knowledge and time spent but you.

By %: 1 to 2.5% , 1% they identified; 2.5% is full service you did lots of work and you think you deserve every penney.

Hourly wage is one way to guess a figure in other words...whats your time worth? Another is value based on knowledge or savvy. Then there is being in the right place at the right time. How about your first in line for the Horn of Plenty and every gets a generous chunk. Or come up with a low or so-so figure and times it by ten. Role-reverse: What would you pay? Consider a combo of all of the above as well. One thing is for sure. You don't ask, you don't get! Caution: Watch out for the greed bug as it will try to bite all involved
