Might be hard to find an EXCLUSIVE buyer agent/broker, but you should come close with many respectable ActiveRain agents in that area.

Are you looking for someone who only works with buyers? There is no "exclusive buyer broker" otherwise until an agency agreement is signed with one. I suggest you contact Noah Seidenberg

I would not want an exclusive buyers agent; listing agents have an insight that adds so much value to their buyers when they represent them; better startegy, better advice, better negotiations...better set up of expectations. It's like having the other side's playbook.

Chicago, itself, is over 234 square miles... and close to 500 square miles when you include the surrounding suburbs and collar counties.

So, the "where" is pretty important in "where in the Chicago area"?

I'm sure there are exclusive buyer's brokerages in Chicago, unfortunately, I'm not one of them... so if you're looking for only an exclusive buyer's broker... I can't help you.

I don't, however, practice dual agency (nor do I practice the more entertaining Alexander Hamilton style duel agency either)... when I represent a buyer... I represent him exclusively, if that helps at all.

For those of you who recommended me, thank you.  For those of you who recommended Noah or Lyn... well, you can't go wrong with either... they're both excellent agents.

There are two people in Chicago who I'd recommend - Alan May or Noah Seidenberg.   They do both listing and selling, and I would trust them with my most valuable clients!

Go to the roster and you will find several great agents in the area. One will be just right.
