Yes, but I think it is the lack of quality properties to choose from. I still have buyers looking that are not happy with the selection

My markets of Tallahassee and Ocala are "steady"... but we still have many, many houses for sale. It is the best time for Buyers!

I'm calling it slow for me personally because I have buyers who can't find anything right now due to low inventory, but I'm seeing lots of action otherwise! Lexington, KY.

In my market it's both. There are segments where the buyer demand is high and inventory is very low. In other parts there has been some increased inventory, longer days on market and price reductions occurring.
Generally, the market for homes under $1,000,000 and condos under $700,000 hot. Homes in certain neighborhoods under $2,000,000 are difficult to find. Multiple offers and sales price over list price are still common. The upper end(over $3,000,000) unless the home is very special, in many cases buyers have some choices. Homes need to be priced and presented properly upfront or they may linger on the market.

Very strong in my market in Southern California which is Ventura County as well as the West Los Angeles County areas. We still have low inventory in most areas however if a home is overpriced or not priced for the condition we are seeing those homes sit on the market. We are unique that we have homes from $40M all the way down to $400's. There is always something for everyone to buy so that helps keep this market moving. It's a mix of a Buyer/Seller market depending on the price point.

Seems steady in Chicago! Certain markets in Florida are slowing but it may just be the off season!

A little yes. Seemed to start around graduations (end of June) and continuing into prime vacation time.

It just got unusally slow - this has historically been a very busy season for our market - today not so much

Not really. Fewer offers. But if you have a demanding buyer it is hard to get into a contract.

Ours may have skipped over that "going strong" stage that much of the country experienced.\

Ginger,
Some areas are definitely slower, as are some price points. The ultra high end is not moving. A

Still more demand than homes out there, especially in the under $300K price point.

1-7 days DOM for decent stuff priced to sell...I remain cautious but optimistic

I feel our market is slowing a bit. Just an itch nothing in the figures to justify. On the other hand for everyone stating how hot the market is we do not have big #s over last year to justify that claim either. Mark

As others have mentioned, Southern California is still definitely a seller's market. This includes further inland (Inland Empire), which is not typically as strong as a lot of the rest of the region.
