Stocks are back up.  The media takes every opportunity to sensationalize every thing possible.  A

Petroleum prices might rise and that would be a good thing for the stock market, which in turn would positively affect the mortgage market. Still, I do not think the changes will be too profound and to commit to a thirty year mortgage based on bumps in the road is not prudent.

I'm with Alexandra - the media hyped it and the people spoke with a spike in the stock market. I'm so over the media!

I agree with your thoughts Jody Bruns, CDLP , as rates have dropped. It also changed the Fed's outlook for future rate hikes. As is usually the case, the markets drop and a fight to quality happened when the fear of the unknown happens. However, after a couple of days, there is a correction in the works.

Other than mortgage rates, I don't see any effects. IMO people that cancel or stop a home purchase because of BREXIT, shouldn't have been buying in the first place, and they will find another excuse when this dies down.

There may be significant effects on both real estate and / or mortgage markets in some parts of the world.

I don't think it will impact anything long term... except maybe starting the collapse of the EU.

It's outside my area of expertise and control.  I read.  I watch.  I don't predict. 

Probably none, especially if people stop worrying about it.

The ripple should calm down soon and those who panicked will lose, and those who did not will be seeing a profit.

Yes, they are saying loan rates will drop and we are seeing this.  Not sure about other effects for now.

I have not concerns ... little impact if any on the real estate market. 

the dust will settle and we'll be on to the next bump in the road....

     My concern is how the accursed Global Elites are reacting to the world-wide Populist revolt.

There hasn't been much of any drop in mortgage rates since Brexit--at all...FHA is quite low now, but it's been grinding lower for months. Convetional rates in a tight range for quite a while now...

I am not buying what the media is selling...Also, it doesn't go into affect for another two years and lastly, not only did the country start out independent but most likely will go back to it as will others. Small adjustment will take place and then, when the water is settled, it will seek its own levels

I am not worried about it at all. I am sure things will happen in the short run.

My thoughts. Lots of UK and EU citizens will be looking for a secure place to put their wealth. USA real estate, in all it's dimensions, has a proven track record.

If you are working with buyers, they should be advised more competition is on the horizon.
