Nah, I don't worry that much about blogs - more important to me to make sure any customers that might need assistance are taken care of before I leave

No, never. Nor, do I worry about writing everyday as it is not necessary for strong SEO. writing good epic conent is what counts, even if just once a week or once a month.

My blogs are genuinely written as inspired on the fly, I would not know how to do the stockpile thing before hand. I have however, written long ones and stockpiled them into part 1, part 2, part 3 sequential releases.
Vacations-during & afterwords though: I will typically write my blogs (or at least blog ideas) in my journal while traveling (I'm an early riser, my bride is not) and then type them up when I return (we travel without tech); so under those circumstances, I'd stockpile their releases for the days after my return, from my travel notes.
This is just me, there's no right or wrong on this one.

Wayne and Jean Marie Zuhl - I thought of this while I was preparing to leave for India - however, could not do much anyways...
It's been said you are busiest when you are about to leave for vacation....

I might write a few but I simply slack off when away rather than driving myself nuts trying to keep up the same pace

I am leaving tonight and plan on setting up FUTURE DATE, but not stockpile them. Only reason is because I can't resize a photo or change font. It doesn't make it easy to make those changes with my Apple products.

Not usually. But I do take a lot of photos, and a couple of times I've done travelogues.

Rarely have time to stockpile. So if I don't have any posts written for future dates so be it. Just go on vacation and catch up when I return.

If I am doing a 30 for 30 or in the groove I like to stock pile blogs. If I am out of town I like to schedule my blogs for the week.

I usually have my hands full in preparatin of going away for a couple of weeks that it's hard to write additional posts in advance on top of that.

I have done that even when I'm not going away -- it's nice to know there can be a post ready to publish when stuff "happens">

I use the post feature date button to plan out my blogs for the week of vacation. Then, I pop in throughout the week.

I would like to stockpile before a trip but it never works that way, always extra busy getting ready for the trip. Just have to take a break here and ther along the way and post something.
