It protects homebuyers and tenants from unlawful discrimination. If you get caught could be expensive. Are there violations? You bet

The Fair Housing Act protects certain classes of people to help avoid discrimination and make housing available to everyone. You need to get to know the fair housing laws, so you don't violate them and get yourself into trouble. I have done a few posts on this topic.

 # #     The Federal Government has passed a Law that takes away your right to dispose of your private property as you please.  Obey that Law, or you will face fines, imprisonment, loss of license, and a civil suit.

It is the law and this is one law that is for the good of the people/consumers as it means that housing is open to all that are in the protected classes.

It protects people from discrimination.

Because it is the right thing to do.
