you can, but the issue then is when you put an old post in a new group it will be buried.  I'd suggest just trying new groups with future posts.

I don't think that's a good use of time.  If you change them, they will be lower in the group (as I think it's done in reverse chronological order).  I'm not sure you'll get much from the groups either way.  I would just do it once and pick the ones you think are best/most active.

Instead, I would focus (if you can) on getting more subscribers.  I would probably comment more on other's blogs.

It is my understanding that groups have little value - as Lyn Sims says ... they are dead ... not being moderated any longer.  

Groups are a waste of time. There are no more than 500 active bloggers at any time. 

I still post to some groups and I certainly have some favorites I may occasionally check but overall I think the number is a bit overwhelming to properly manage.

John DL Arendsen - not sure why you'd like to do that. The posts are in chronological order - from new to old. If you change a group of an old post to something new, it really will not show up on top anyways.

You can change which groups you put a post in.  I use them to find stuff to read and to put in my Sunday summary.  Bannantude and Addicted to ActiveRain are favorites.  A lot depends on what you're posting about.

Some groups are active and may get you a few more comments. Most don't do a thing for you.

With the exception of a few groups, I think most of them are dead and gone. Just change your groups from here on out and don't worry too much about the posts that were put in groups that don't have much going on.

Yes, you can... but it won't pop to the top of their list, so I doubt there's any value in doing that.

Yes, you can change them using the edit button.  It may take a few minutes before you notice the change.   Also, what Tammy Lankford, said about old posts.
