For just the blog, you may want to cut-n-paste just the HTML code from your AR post and post it elsewhere.

I don't think so if you have if posted automaticlly. The other option is to cut and paste just the post itself, as others have said

Got me hanging but it's not always bad to have comments show. Problem is when you actually publish 'the feed' the comments will show.

I ocasionally will do that.  What I have found is that it is best to do it from the Firefox browser.  Just copy the section you want and then post.  A

I have always posted my blogs on my website first.  This lets Google see them as mine first.  Then next day or a few hours later, I post on AR.  It may be different for paying members, but I am still a Rainer, working my way up in points.  So Google doesn't yet see them on AR.

Maybe an Ambassador can tell you what you need to know.

When I go to syndicate a post, I'm not sure how a cut-and-paste would work. Where do you paste it to?  If it's Facebook or Twitter, you can't just plunk the entire article down right there.  

I am not sure it's possible.  One thought though, is that the comments help to show that your blog is read by others, which could be a good marketing point for clients.

Great question Margaret Kapranos .  I have often thought AR member comments aren't the one's you want displayed on your website.  

It depends how you are feeding your web site.

no, but why would you want to turn off comments.  If there is a particular comment that is of issue it can be deleted.

That's a g good question.  I haven't thought of the pros or cons of active rain comments on a blog I shared.
