Buzz Mackintosh - heard about MatterPort at MarTech Trends in Boston.
A great product - and will need a great home.
(People would know EVERYTHING about the home - good for a crook perhaps.......)

You don't ave to buy the camera. Just find a local photographer that offers this service. You can search for a photographer who offers it here: https://matterport.com/find-a-photographer/
It's a great service. Works well on phones. You can add the link on a Zillow listing under "Video Tour"

No. I found them annoying long and difficult to load on the sites I saw that were using them. Won't use a product that pissed me off with the load time (and yes, pissed me off is accurate. It came after I was annoyed.)

Buzz, very impressive tour and congratulations on the muliple offers! However, with a price range of $4500 - $6800, it only makes since for very high-end listings. I'm curious...did the seller pay for it, or did you share in the costs? In my market, a tool like Paradym (formerly VisualTour) provides the best ROI.

No. We create our videos from still photos.

In a different market, yes. In our market it's a waste of time as homes are flying off the shelf.

I have and had a company provide one for one of my high end listings. I actually had a lot of views, but many emails that it took too long to load and they could not manipulate the site and just gave up. It's a good looking tool but I am not sold on the effectiveness. The attention span for the consumer is too short. Quick videos and great photos are still my #1 tool.

Buzz,
Are you able to embed the 3d tour into your AR blog like you can a youtube video?
Will your MLS accept the Tour Link from Matterport?
I am stuck between 3D and VRWEB.

No because my listings haven't had the sq footage for use. I like how it looks & obviously the buyers like it too.

We are considering it, but the price tag is too high. We thought about adding this service to our pro photgraphy toolkit for other agents to use, but everyone thinks the price for the service and hosting is too high.

Buzz, that is amazing!! What a great selling tool, especially for out of area buyers who want to experience a home as if they were here!

No, I'm not. Too expensive. I've had multiple offers on listings in the first 24 hours without such an expensive tour.

There are some agents in m office who do. I'm waiting for them to improve the navigation features.
