I ask for feedback following every sale - at the same time I ask for their review/testimonial

My company requests feedback on each transaction--and we get a good response probably 90% of the time.

I did not ask till recently, now I decided to ask everyone for testimonials.

many listing agents ask for feedback on showings....I never cared about that....I knew the right price .... seller needed to listen to ME not other agents....

About 75-85% of the time, b/c Showingtime keeps eailing them for feedback until they respond.

Candid constructive feedback is always welcomed.  B*tching, Wh*ning and Complaining, not so much - that usually results in Sam making an appearance:

Why am I reading this as 'corrective criticism'? Listening is the best skill & then work from there. Most of the time it is a new experience for sellers & buyers so they don't really know what should or shouldn't happen.

We have a quesitonaire that goes out after closing.

I do not think one should ask for it, they should do a job well enough that they want to give it. If you ask for it, it may not always be good

My clients have been generous in their praise and I always ask if there was anythinng that would have made their experience even better.

I dont ask as much as I should.

I don't ask for feedback from other agents. I also don't give it when I'm working with buyers.  Their thoughts are confiential when they share them with me.

I take feedback well.  I consider the source it comes from too and if it was solicited or not.

I ask all the time to get better, most of the feedback is always excellent.

And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, leave that place and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them. Mark 6:11

Very well.

From other agents?...They should remain silent.

From my clients? I always ask,,"What could I have done better  and/or what resources or tools could have made the process easier or less stressful?"

Our company sends out post-closing questionnaires...  there's a fair response rate.  I'm in contact with clients throughout the process so have a good feeling of how they think things are going.  My favorite feedback though is an unsolicited note. 

Probably about 1/3 answer.

Most of the time you have to ask for feedback.
