My max wait time is 15 minutes after I've waited 15 minutes and tried to contact them. 

My meetings are spelled out so there can be no misunderstandings on the MEET. Then, in this day & age, inexcusable that a phone call or text is not done. Lastly, if their phone went dead or the car kaput...what can I say? I allow 15 minutes grace then I skedaddle if no contact made. Bye, so long

I certainly do - if I can't get in touch with them I only wait 15 mins to half hour - I have things to do

I will wait 15 minutes.  I once was stood up by a Buyer and I said in jest "he'd better have been in an accident because not calling or texting me is inexcusable!"   

I never heard from him again til a year later.  He WAS in an accident and had been in the hospital and rehab, etc all this time!!!   Talk about feeling like a jerk

If I can't get in touch, I leave a message stating what time I will leave. 20 minutes is it.

Hi Diana - If it's a client I know and have been working with, I'll wait at least 30 minutes. If it's a lead, they get 15-20, depending on how good my cell reception is.

I will wait 20 minutes and my text and voicemail while waiting on them says this and to call me when they want to reschedule. 

If they don't call and I can't reach them, I won't wait more than 15 minutes unless there are some extenuating circumstances.

Depends on the client. 

Someone we've never met before - I might wait 10-15 minutes without hearing from them. Someone we have worked with before or know well - I'd probably wait a lot longer.

Incidentally, if I'm going to be 15 minutes late for an appointment with my hairdresser or my doctor or whoever, I call.

If you can't get a hold of them and they aren't current clients, I would cancel the showing after 15 minutes, maybe 20.

Diana Dahlberg It looks like you are being stood up. I do have a set time. I wait fifteen minutes and will try to contact them. If I do not hear from them, I will leave. If they don't have the courtesy to call and let me know they are on the way, they probably aren't.

I hate when that happens!

I call buyers if they are 5 minutes late and hadn't called to let me know they'd be late. If they don't answer, I leave them a message that I am at the house and hope to see them soon. If they are not there 5 minutes later I call again and leave a message that I"m leaving in 10 minutes. And then I do.

If someone is going to be late, they need to call.

Typically 15 minutes but it could also depend on the client.  

The time frame for waiting relates to the circumstances. I would usually not wait more than 20 minutes.

15-20 minutes is my limit. If I know traffic is bad I might wait longer.

15 minutes then call the LA to cancel the showing. Reschedule if you hear from them after that.

15 minutes and then AMF. If they called or texted and said they were running late I would probably wait.

I usually wait 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the weather and if I am able to get ahold of the Buyer.

Yes, I do set a timeframe Diana Dahlberg.  I would do what you have done also, as in trying to contact them in more than one manner.  My Wait Time is 15 - 20 minutes and then I attempt another call/text.  Hopefully nothing happened to them, where they could not call, especially if they are not clients you are meeting for the first time . . .  after this happens one time, I do let them know that I would appreciate 'that call' so that you can reschedule, as I only wait 'XYZ minutes'!  Good Luck . . .

I will sometimes call at the time of appointment if they are not there, For new cleints i may even call hours ahead to confirm. After 15 minutes being late, if no answer or call, i may be out of there

It depends. If I already met this client and know what to expect, I'll act accordingly. With our L.A. traffics most of us always late.

I would say if they are more than half an hour late, I would call the agent or seller and cancel the showing.

Yes. 10 minutes. If I have not heard from them and cannot reach them ... I'm moving on. 

I've waited up to a half hour, but that would be with notification. For no text, no call people 15-20 minutes seems sufficient.

I would not give it more than 15 minutes.... there's no need of any potential client exhibiting that type of behavior....it's only going to go downhill from there.... cancel and leave.

It depends on where they are coming from . If it is a long distance during rush hour I give them more time.

I give them probably 20 mins unless I know they are always late then maybe 30 minutes.  Always have a book in the car while waiting  lol.

We now do not wait any longer than 20 minutes. I wrote a blog post a while back and will never wait that long again.Did they ever show up and how long did you wait?

It depends.  It is against the law to be using a cell phone while driving.

I make sure they are prequalified and that we're on the same page before the first showing.  The only time buyers haven't shown up is back in the day when I'd take an appointment without any prequalification.  

Depends. At school 15 minutes. If it took you long getting there, one hour and I will leave a note on the door that you have left.  Good luck.
