Very few these days. I've sold one bank owned property in the last six months.

I no longer list these type properties but do sell a few of them. I estimate about 15% of my sales involve one of these type properties. I work with lots of investors.

Hi Minette - None. I think there are 3 foreclosures and no short sales currently on the market, and they were never very plentiful here.

I've seen one in 6 years in our niche, which is an age-restricted community Minnette Olsen.  I'm thinking in other niches that is not the case though.

I am not seeing as many short sales and REO's like in the past ... for this year I would say maybe 1 in 10 closings are a buyer who has purchased an REO and only 1 short sale this year.

The percentage has dropped off dramatically from a few years ago.

They are far & few in between now in my area. F & BO are really the same thing. Most of the banks go in & recarpet & paint for the new buyers. Very few 'as is' dumps out there.

Mine, personally, none and very rare. These distressed properties are barely 2.5% of all sales in my mls.

Many of my purchases were foreclosures, a lot of hassle but sometimes worth it.

Too hard to find on the retail side so need to operate further upstream.
