None of those, we meet most of our clients in rural areas, taverns, cafes, and often in hunting cabins.

I don't - but they take me where ever I recommend and I don't recommend any eatery that closes during the off season!

Our days are full, and we never stop...

No food. Don't do food with clients unless they promise to pay for ice cream.

Never break for food, bring bottled water if it's hot outside.  But we can discuss this over lunch if you stop by my office in Destin. 

If I am showing and we need to stop for lunch it will be a modest sit-down restaurant where we can discuss the houses and be waited on without having to hop up and down to pick up a meal, refill a beverage, get more napkins or a fork, etc.

I do not dine with my clients.  I don't want that kind of relationship.

I don't take clients to restaurants generally. Certainly don't go so upscale as Ruth's Chris or as downscale as Taco Bell when I do.

Not a fan of dining with clients during a showing appointment! Almost never high end if I do!

I normally would not take clients to restaurants. 

Fred Griffin most my clients are from Indian origin - so the choice is obvious.

And this also includes my client appreciation parties.

My last client meal was at an awesome new French Restaurant: Le Petite Bistrot in La Jolla (with ocean views) last Friday night, A+ clients celebrating their 1 year anniversary in La Jolla thanks to moi!

Depends on the client and the situation: during tour, after tour, celebration, meeting or thank you.

None of those listed above,I have not done fast food in 16 years. Ruth's Chris is nice, once, but overrated for the prices. I'm not big on steaks though, nor the locations of our 2 RC's.

It's local healthy favorites & family owned or small 1-5 store types like Surf Brothers or Rubios for fresh fish tacos, seldom low end chains or franchises. Although I do use Roy's & Duke's in La Jolla frequently and they are chains, but upscale.

It depends on the day. Sometimes if we are still on the road and have appt. then fast food and eat in the car. If the showings are over then typically something more quiet so we can discuss the homes.

generally a local place... Jackson's (on the lake and has great fish), Aubri Lane's (gives Ruth Chris a run for their money), Stacks (fabulous sandwich shop), The Brick (devine pizza) or Biba's (does have multiple locations, but not a chain yet all owned by same family with good Italian dishes)

Small local ones eherre we can sit and talk as needed.

I avoid restaurants except maybe for settlement celebrations.  Then they take me someplace nice.

I really like to woo clients with my knowledge of local fare, and of course wining & dining someone with delicious food in an upscale environment speaks volumes.  For that reason, I take folks to Carl's Jr and tell em' they can have whatever they want from the menu, on me.

We would go to locally owned restaurants.  Price is not what matters, it is the local feel.  We would take someone to Superica, a local taqueria, that has made the Robb Report top 100 restaurants.  It was one of Julia Child's favorites, and it is one of ours.  We spend $20. including tip for the two of us, for instance, and it can be something like Downey's whose prices are on par with Ruth's Chris.  A  

Starbucks for coffee and something like panera for a quick lunch 

I usually schedule the appointments before or after the eating hours. If we are celebrating then we usually go to an upscale restaurant, depending on my relationship with them.

No upscale, because normally it's a meal on the go while we are out looking at houses.  Like locally owned best, sit down restaurants.  But sometimes it is Subway or Panera.  All depends.

There are a couple of locally-owned eateries in town that are hangouts for agents and host mixers etc. A coffee roastery and a bistro. They are cozy and inexpensive but hip. That's where I meet clients when I need to.

It doesn't happen very often when we are out - depends on what's available

LOL, certainly not Chipotle Fred. Not any fast food for that matter. If I see fit to take a client out to dinner I take them to a fairly nice place.

It depends on why we are eating together. If we're grabbing something while showing homes...fast or semi fast. If we are celebrating a closing, something local or a franchise, rarely anything upscale.

If we're on the go, we stop for sandwiches to take out. If I were to select a restaurant, it would depend on the occasion e.g. quick lunch between showings or celebrating a closing? Either way, prefer to stick to something local and authentic, not chains.

Totally depends on the situation. 

Clients we don't know well who are buying/selling a $300k house - no where. Clients we know well or those who are buying/selling $1M houses - we tend toward a few locally owned restaurants we like that are probably comparable to a Ruth's Chris.

I have yet to do this with random people.  With clients (potential or actual) who are friends of mine, we've gone to more upscale restaurants (Fleming's, Ruth's, etc.).

no fast food restaurants.... always local Italian Restaurants.....places where people know us (just like Cheers!!).... clients like to be in the company of people who know people...it's good to deal with someone who is known in the marketplace....

Oh My Gosh ... never fast food ... I don't eat it.  When I take clients  to eat it is almost always to celebrate a closing. Fine dining all the way. 

Although it rarely happens, in the event the day calls for a meal with clients, I prefer to take them somewhere local. 

Food choice is depends on the individual.  

Clients decide what they want to eat.  On their own.  

Always local owned.

Why? Because I know the owners.

The owners know when I come in with clients it there time to do the 'Small enough to know you, big enough to serve you' show.

The more connected a client feels regarding a community, the more they LIKE it!

And when I stroll into Tropical Wines for an impromptu wine tasting, the clients do get special attention.

Depends on the client and the way things are going. I don't generally do fast food, but if it's a local treasure I have.  I reserve the high end places to my favorite clients. I've done Pizza, mediteranian, seafood-both fast and fine dining.  Starbucks is the most common. 

I meet at Panera Bread with a number of my clients -- I call it my office away from home.

None of the above. If we are out all day and in need of food, it is something fast and convenient. Otherwise, they feed themselves.
