I once had one with 12 offers.  I thought I would go nuts before I could get them presented.  And it was amazing how they all had the same ceiling for the amount offered.  It was above our list price, but the market was speaking loud and clear.  The home wasn't worth more than all those buyers thought it was.

I had 5 on a short sale, handling both sides. The lender also added 1% to the commission. Full price, closed in 15 days, what more could you ask for.

I've had 14 offers.... asked for highest and best from all of them....and relayed that a decisions would be made within 24 hours.... and no other offers would be entertained.... it went to the cleanest deal, and it was not the highest price.

The most I've ever had was three.  And, when the seller decided to call for highest and best, two dropped out of the bidding, so we sold it to the last one standing.

When we did lots of REO listings many times we had multiple offers. THe exact number I do not remember, but with REOs, we always requested the Highest & Best from those sublitting.

18 - last month. Nice house below $175,000. I was surprised how some agents came in under asking and asked for closing costs. Two came in $10K above asking and one waived the request for closing costs.

It has been many years for me as it was an REO property. I had 17. One buyer working with another agent called me adn threatened me if his offer didn't get selected. His didn't get selected and it was the highest and cash. They took an owner occupant's offer instead.

Over 30 offers on one of my listings.  I can't recall the exact number.  Offer accepted.  Transaction closed.   Happy seller.  Check cashed.  Onto the next.  

I have been involved with buyers submitting offers where there have been more than 50.

During the boom of the mid 2000's I got 7 offers on a house, 5 or 6 offers on quite a few others.  It was common.

We typically countered the lowest offers first, at a price higher than the highest offer in hand.  In those days, they always appraised no matter how high it went.  Today, I am not so sure they would appraise.

Multiple offers is the rule in my area for most of the last 3 years. I almost feel like I've failed if we don't get more than 3.  I've had up to 16 once, 12 & 9 are the next highest.

Distressed properties over 20.... 3 day review. Way over listed for. Turn off phone.  This was online before mls.

I have been in situation where I find out several agents simutaneously bid on same property and mls says 106 offers.
