Cynthia,
It is easy to believe you expect a SERIOUS answer. And such answers exist.
A serious answer would be 'don't burn your bridges leading back to your current or previous employer. 90% of newbies do not see year two.
How serious are you? DID you, like any serious business person, prepare a business plan for your real estate business? You know what happens to those who fail to plan.
If you have no plan, it matters not what you look for in a broker, since the broker has NO CLUE what business you are in. So, 90 percent of newbies get tossed into the deep and you either swim or drown. That is Darwinism at it's best. But there is a more civilized way.
Invest the time and resources to show you are serious and create your one page business plan, then the broker will know EXACTLY what to do.

Let's see how serious you are.
