I agree with Carol Williams ~ when I first started and understood the intensity that I put into a listing, and knew I didn't want to be a megaproducer with a lot of subordinates, I set my limit at 10 listings I would carry at a time. I got five listings last month and three buyers, and it was almost as much as I was comfortable handling. We all have different desires in our business. I want to be sorta busy, not crazy  

I think I had 6 during the fall out.

I have signed up as many as five new clients in a day, but after that I was too busy to meet with any prospects the rest of the week.

7-8 if I recall. Back in my short sale days.  That was a crap ton of work and I did it solo.  Today, I would not take more than 2-3.  

I never set out to be mega anything ... it is not who I am  ... not in my blood. 

I rather ans that I know a reo agent in CA one day was assigned 54 reo homes for sale.  He had a heart attack....

When I was an agent I never wanted more than 12 listings and 2 or 3 buyers at a time.  I also managed 67 rental units.  

3 or 4 is the most we've taken on in a week.  It was a good week and doesn't happen often!  

I listed three about a month ago all in a week.  That was NUTS.   Over 70 showings, over 30 offers and my phone never stopped ringing.

Seven listings in one week. It just happened long before the collapse!

I recall one day when I listed two.  That it was it for the week as well and as memory serves me one that may have been repeated but not often. Yet.

My highest numbers related to new construction and to foreclosures.

I guess I am more of a "boutique" agent and have always selected quality over quantity. I have seen too many of my friends and fellow associates with health problems or die too early over too much stress and chasing the $$.

well i once did a condo project and took 40 units in a week, that was a paperwork nightmare

5 listings in one week (individual sellers not REO or builder assignments) and I'm not a team. Too many and won't ever take that many again in one week.

As I recall 4 new listings, not counting new buyers.

Hi Tony & Suzanne - We did five once back in the bad old days. We were a builder's preferred agent and got listings for their buyers who had a home to sell - we did half-price commissions, but got a full commission on what they bought. It was a great deal.

when I was actively working, I can remember taking 8 resale listings in one week.... they all bought new homes through me.... when you have new construction, you have income from other directions, too!! and I had as many as 45 transactions going at once..... consistently 35-45.....that was for a few years....then the market changed.... and for that I was thankful.... 

5, didn't say I didn't have help. That's not too many but alot for all at once.

probably 3 or 4 nothing really jumps out like a listing a day week.

I don't count because I have my head down pushing forward. Probably the most would be around 4-5 not counting builders, etc.
