We get a lot from our lender, because she wants her buyers to find the right home, have a great experience and close. And that's why we use her too.

While referrals from clients remains #1, I'm lucky enough to have many agents that refer my services, Thomas J. Nelson, Realtor ... but I must add that, while it's taken time, my online presence is definitely gaining ground on that.  Again, I'm lucky on many levels and thankful ...

I actually have two - ActiveRain and my signs.

I have a unique sign that people will often call because they love my sign. It's a little different now, but still unique.

Mine is other Foresters who know what we can do.

My #1 is realtors, followed by painters, decorators and GC's.

After referrals it is my Active Rain Blog for the biggest source of new clients.

NAEBA the National Association of Exclusive Buyers Agents.  Members have to be true Exclusive Buyers Agents that work in OFFICES that never list property or represent sellers.

The buyers that come through there are always educated and looking for a no-conflict-of-interest buyers agent.

My SOI is a great source of referrals and many come from people I have never met it done business with.

Thomas J. Nelson, Realtor Interesting question. Believe it or not with 5 grown kids, 4 of 5 who live within 5 miles of us and a daughter-in-law and nephew who are or were under my brokerage most of our leads come from within our families sphere of influence.

All toll when you add my immediate and extended family together we're at 65-70 and we all  have grown up and continue to live in the North San Diego Coastal area and plan to stay here. 

So when you add in all the freinds and neighbors to that we're in the hundreds. Add to that the fact that we're basically buyers agents and seldom take listings or sit open houses and we've got a perpetual farm with a lot of moving parts that literally keep on MOVING.

I have several REALTORS (including AR) that refer me business all the time.
